Judy Schneider was born and raised in Queens, NY. She later relocated to
Framingham, MA where she raised her family and currently resides.
Very early on, even as a child, she was aware of her interest in making Art.
This interest later became her passion.
The acts of painting, studying photography and later on working as an interior
designer defined her natural instinct for creativity.
Judy received a Fine Art Geology Degree from Queens College, CUNY NY and
later continued her studies at the Arts Student League in NY. She also pursued
her interest in Photography at the Maine Photographic Workshops studying
with Ernst Haas.
Recently a Docent at the Danforth Museum in Framingham.
Currently, a founding member of the Howard Street Studios also in Framingham, MA
Today, Judy works as a Fine Artist: an Abstract Expressionist painter.
Her work is influenced by Matisse, Hofmann, and de Kooning.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous locations throughout the New England
area and is in private collections in New York, Boston and Atlanta.
